It arrived!!

Yayage!! It arrived this morning!

If you are wondering what I'm talking about: Taggart DVD set! 4 days since ordering, I'm impressed!

I'm quite ashamed of my reaction.

Early this morning my mum was like "The posties are back at work today" so I went "All I'm caring about is if they bring my Taggart" Then I had to go and do my paper round, when I came back and walked up the front path I saw a brown cardboard box on the inside window-sill. The car was away and my parents had went to the shops. And I was thinking "What if it's Taggart" I dismissed that idea until Kyle pointed at it when I got inside. I looked into the opened box and saw the one word that I had been hoping for. I started jumping up and down (Kyle was naturally disgusted by my behaviour) and squealing about double the recommended decibel level.
Kyle tried to calm me down by saying The Sarah Jane Adventures was repeated - since we missed it this week - in 5 minutes time. All that did was make me hug it to my chest and say that I was getting a drink and it was too precious for me to leave on the sofa.

Anyway now I'm doing my personal study, checking over my fic for tomorrow and I just finished a hazelnut hot chocolate drink. Yummy.

Oh well see ya's later. Oh Michael Buble on X Factor tomorrow and Bon Jovi next week, new Bon Jovi album next week and Mentalist DVD on the same day :D

Haven't Met You Yet - Michael Bublé

 

Yep I'm a new Michael Bublé fan! He's on the X Factor on Saturday!!!

 

Well the past couple of days. A mixture really. Yesterday I went to Ocean Terminal which is terrible now-a-days, it doesn't even have Athena any more! When I was looking for DVDs in HMV Mr Edie was there! So I hastily went to a different section of the shop, hoping that he didn't see me. I got new Gumy Air headphones which will hopefully last longer than my last one (2 days)!

 

Because no HMV in Edinburgh (or any other shop for that matter) have the Taggart DVD set I was looking for so I persuaded my mum to let me buy it over the internet and yipee I get it in a maximum of 14 days! Island, Judgement Day, Trust, Point of Light + A Study In Murder!!! That'll make me happy when I get them. Until then I have another 37/38(?) episodes on DVD/video tape (So Long Baby)!

 

Elliot Minor were doing a signing session in Princes Street yesterday and I missed it when I was having so much fun in Ocean Terminal!

 

Been watching Season 2/3 of F.R.I.E.N.D.S today and The One With The Flashback has prompted me to write a fic set in the scene where Monica and Chandler are hugging. It's just too cute, and it'll be my first one for them so that should be good fun.

I've actually got a few fics in progress: To Have and To Hold, More Than Just Lyrics, my Xmas/New Years one, the one where Robbie and Jackie are locked in a room, and one that I've never mentioned yet; kind of like In a Hospital but Robbie's the one injured and it should be a lot better but it'll be ages until publishing.

But I've been too busy reading Waking The Dead fics and shouting at this computer

 

Done all my Maths homework today. Well all as in all the stuff I can do without Sarah Law's jotter in front of me :L Same with Biology and French.

 

Remeber when I said my phone had been tangoed? Yeah well that's caused the power button to fail and recently it started to cut out whenever I slid the keyboard away. So my parents forced me to phone the helpline and send it away. I've begged my mum to let me use my old phone until I get mine back but she says that because I gave it to her, I'm not allowed it back. She hasn't used the bloody thing once since London in July!!!!! P***ed off at her.

My parents showed me their wedding photos earlier and since it was 28(?) years ago everyone looks so different! And I joked that my mum's eye make up was a little much and she sort of got annoyed at me :L

Written with a headache

Well you aren't getting any lyrics today because if I listen to anything this throbbing pain in my head gets even worse, and it's unbearable without that added.

Been working on my personal study for English and unlike last year I still like this book on the second time around. I'm doing it on A Quiet Belief In Angels by R.J Ellory, I really like it because it's a crime novel and you have no idea what's going to happen throughout.

Went to Costco with the family earlier, they didn't even have any good taste samples!

Helen and I have been on a roll with our fanfiction in the past week or so: I have finished two of my chapter fics and already wrote two songfics for my new set :) I'm incredibly proud of myself. And this has just reminded me that I was going to watch Made of Honor today to give me ideas for To Have and To Hold, because I can't think of what to put in the next chapter of it.

Murderland is on tonight!! I feel lucky for you guys that I wasn't on this last February-ish because I had this major obsession with Sharon Small, I mean the Taggart obsession that I have now is probably just as bad but still... I don't even care what the storyline is in this programme I just want to see her amazing acting talents like in Mistresses (love that show SO MUCH), Inspector Lynley Mysteries (as usual my parents said that show was crap but I adored it) and just everything!

Watched some Season 2 F.R.I.E.N.D.S earlier, Monica and Chandler suited each other back then too, even if she was dating Richard. I didn't like Richard especially in the last episode of Season 6, he tried to steal her back!!

Might go and work on the fic that I'll publish next week, even if it is a Christmas/New Years one, I'm close to finishing it!

One [boring] day

Well I'm not listening to anything so no lyrics for this one!

PE today was a laugh. We had an odd number of people for the badminton tournament so I joked that Scott could take my place and I would just sit at the side, which didn't go down well with Ms Nicholson, she turned round sharply and said, and I quote, "That's always your attitude Lee and I don't like it at all." My friends and I were all trying to keep a straight face as she said it. And can somebody tell me why, for the past four years teachers have and still are getting mixed up between me and Kirsty?! We don't even look alike!

Kathryn didn't speak to me much at Midlothian Youth Orchestra because I joked that at least nobody else had to sit next to her for three periods of Geography every week.

And we had to do these powerpoint things in Music today and whenever any of us started to talk Mr Wilson would butt in and say exactly what we were just about to say, it was so annoying! But I think my slideshow on concerto grossos was the best because of the little smiley that reminded us of David on his guitar :P

Oh yess if you read my Twitter updates then you will already know about the recent Steps obsession that I'm back into. Can't believe they were only around for 4 years (1997-2001)! I'm on Youtube watching as many of the videos as I can because I have sadly lost my CDs - they are somewhere in my house but we have no idea where.

Anyway, I realised on Friday that I am overly obssesed with Robbie/Jackie and fanfiction when I looked at my Geography folder; if you can find a section on it that doesn't relate to my fics, Taggart love or John Michie love, then I'll be shocked. It's because Geography is a complete waste of time so I have to do something and because of what Helen refers to as my "one track mind" then that's what I write :)

This morning I did my Biology homework and finished my English character study, I have gave up on my French homework because I was at my violin lesson so I only have the basic plan.

Got a new shelf put up in my bedroom for my books! I have all my series' ones like Twilight, Harry Potter and Princess Diaries at the bottom, then I have all my encyclopedias that I never use then all the fiction ones that I love so much. And I finished reading The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo earlier so I'm going to start on The Lost Symbol sometime soon!
